Eddie Iz Running - Friday 21st August

25 Aug 2009

Eddie finished up in a little neighbourhood last night. One of the locals bought him a bottle of Glenfiddich which was much appreciated! The local kids held up a finish line in Newton Stewart that Eddie ran through.
He ate lots more potatoes for dinner!

The team managed to get half an hour lie in today as their hotel was near the finish line. All the people from last night came out again in the morning to wave Eddie off. Jo cut Eddie’s toenail off completely today. When he was running down the A75 today, Eddie got a police escort. It was a high accident area with hairpin bends and blind hills. As it was such a nasty stretch of road from Stranraer, Gemma and Chris escorted him in their police car for that section.
Eddie signed Gemma’s high vis police jacket.
The weather stayed lovely but unfortunately the forecasts aren’t that accurate so the weather has been surprising them daily!

Eddie will be travelling to Belfast tomorrow.

Hi Eddie, Where are you now-? Would love to get our running club out to run with you for support- we're based in Co. Down.

its great to read about what you are doing. i wish you could come to israel to do a gig... or even run thru israel! but i guess you'd want to learn hebrew to do it, and that's really difficult! you never cease to amaze me. (i used to live in the uk but live in israel, but its not an option on the pulldown menu) i hope you are actually enjoying all this running, as well as getting fit. :)

We're so proud of you, Eddie! I ponied up some pounds for your efforts, I don't have any idea how many dollars it will be, but every little bit helps. Next time you're in upstate New York, maybe Saratoga for the ponies, come on over for a home cooked meal. I promise you it'll be a tasty American evening.

Just saw Eddie today (by accident) in Larbert with his crew. I recognised those calf muscles straight away!!!! Chased after him (in the car), pulled to a sudden stop in a bus bay and yelled at him through the window. He was very gracious and said thank you. I guess he must be used to mad people yelling at him out of cars by now. It's truly a magnificent feat of magnificent feet. All the best for the next part of the journey and i hope to see you in concert again sometime soon. F x

Anyone know where Eddie is??? We've made a fab banner to cheer him on when he runs through the north east of england, but need to know when to go out looking for him. Surely it's now when he really needs our support out on the streets. GO EDDIE OYU'RE DOING GREAT!!!

Just saw Eddie running just north of St Boswells in Scotland (Monday the 31st of August 2009). Looking a bit tired but very determined and waving the Saltire. Go for it Eddie. We are all behind you. Well done on your fantastic effort and a great cause.

Eddie, what you're doing is awesome. I'm currently training to do my first half marathon, so can't even imagine how tough it is to run a full one every day. But you're doing it! Keep on going. You're an inspiration. Hope to spot you on the road somewhere in the North East of England.

There are so many antivirus programs currently and each of them are trying to attract a better chunk of public by publicizing the most beneficial side of their software. It actually gets hard to determine as to which computer software must be installed. Additionally, the question of obtaining the software program or putting in it at no cost also exists. 123456

Sony Ericsson phones are designed by the very same people today who have regularly delivered higher high quality electronic goods to the globe, particularly in regards to cameras. The Sony Ericsson CyberShot has gained worldwide acclaim for its photo high'quality and affordability, and you can enjoy the extremely very same technology with Sony Ericsson phones also. You wont just get blurry images and pixilated movies when you shoot with your phone, actually plenty of people will be shocked if you ever showed them your photographs and movies and told them it was out of your telephone! You are able to get up to 8 megapixel photo top quality with the majority of these phones, which is an added bonus simply because you dont must fork out even more income for any comparable camera to have higher quality shots.
