Eddie Iz Running - Monday 3rd August
03 Aug 2009
Eddie had his first day off on Sunday and decided to spend it eating candy floss at a fun fair in Cardiff. The dodgems were a popular choice for the team, although they all swerved to miss Eddie’s car - figuring he had taken enough bumps on the road already!
Eddie made sure he walked 3 miles on Sunday, to keep his legs moving and to stop them from ceasing up. The team stopped off at The Chandlery restaurant in Newport for lunch where Eddie enjoyed a full Sunday roast.
Today (Monday 3rd August) Eddie set off from Cardiff, stopping to say hello to supporters at the castle. He has been running along the A48 for most of the day but thankfully the weather has been better than normal.
Don’t forget you can sponsor Eddie on the Sport Relief donation page.

That's the great thing about extreme marathon running - you can enjoy eating and still keep your curves. Thanks for the great family pic on twitter today. The great human feel of this journey is grande! You're now the Obama of running for charity! Well done you! Go Eddie Go!

“They miss the whisper that runs any day in your mind, "Who are you really, wanderer?" and the answer you have to give no matter how dark and cold the world around you is: "Maybe I'm a king." -William Stafford Yes, you are a King......long live the King of the Road! Well Done! (off to donate again)
