Blueberry is based on the graphical novel series by Moebius and is set in the small town of Palomito in the 1870s.
US Marshall, Mike S. Blueberry (Vincent Cassel) is the town’s Sherrif and is trying to stop Wally Blount (Michael Madsen), the man who killed Blueberry’s girlfriend, from finding a stockpile of gold hidden in Indian territory. Whilst on this mission, Bluberry encounters Prosit (Eddie) a German villain, also trying to get to the gold.
Later, during an argument in town, Prosit is revealed to be Baron Werner Amadeus Von Luckner, an unpopular man with many enemies and in possession of a gun belonging to a murdered man. Prosit/von Luckner is lynched by the town’s people as the prime suspect. 2 bounty hunters arrive to take him to Durango, but Prosit escapes.
