Steven Mackintosh (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) is Jasper, a struggling young musician who thinks he’s met his dream woman, Sarah (Natasha Little) in this tense neo-noir thriller.
However, things turn nasty when their one-night stand ends in a nightmare when Jasper wakes to find Sarah dead beside him.
Eddie plays Hume, the wisecracking pathologist who collects the crime scene evidence that points to Jasper as the main suspect, and he is arrested by Detective Walker (Bernard Hill) and his assistant, White (Holly Aird).
The suspense continues with Jasper going on the run from the police, being stalked by Sarah’s killers and getting ever-more involved in deception, conspiracy and extortion.
“….Eddie Izzard, who is effective as the moustachioed forensics expert who might hold the key to the whole mystery….” Empire
“Eddie Izzard, usually asked to preen and bitch in films, hits a beautifully complicated note as a tan-suited enigma from forensics.” Independent on Sunday
“….there’s some nicely under-played support from Eddie Izzard as the pathologist.” The Guardian
