We Know Where You Live
In 2001, Eddie was involved in the setting up of a concert for Amnesty International | (www.amnesty.org), We Know Where You Live.
The concert took place on the 3rd June that year at the Wembley Arena and was conceived as an update of Amnesty’s famous Secret Policeman Ball concerts of the 70s, 80s and 90s, to introduce a new generation to Amnesty’s work, and to celebrate Amnesty’s 40th Anniversary.
Other artists involved included Tom Jones, The Stereophonics, Harry Enfield, Paul Whitehouse, Vic Reeves, U2 (via live satellite link-up from Toronto), Dawn French, Alan Rickman, Tim Roth, Jonathan Ross, Harry Hill, Jack Dee, Dom Joly, Richard Blackwood, Jeremy Hardy, Michael Stipe, Julie Walters, Emma Thompson, Colin Firth, Richard E. Grant, Simon Day, Phill Jupitus, Sean Lock and Dave Lamb.
The event was televised on 16th June 2001 on Channel 4 and We Know Where You Live Live! is currently available on VHS and DVD.
