TX....Je Suis A Stand-up
Definite Article was filmed by the BBC as the documentary TX…Je Suis A Stand-up – Eddie Izzard Abroad, which was transmitted on BBC2 on December 7th, 1996 as part of its eight part arts strand.
TX...the programme followed Eddie on tour from Bexhill-on-Sea to New York, via Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris and Iceland, and featured Eddie being interviewed as promotion for the shows, backstage footage and clips of Eddie’s act. It was an interesting record of how different cultures experience comedy.
