The first ever iTunes Live from London comedy show will see Emmy Award winning comedian Eddie Izzard in conversation with Simon Amstell at the Apple Store, Regent Street on Friday, January 30 from 9pm.
20 free tickets will be available on the door on a strictly first come, first served basis.
The exclusive, intimate live show will be recorded at Apple's state-of-the-art theatre at the Apple Store on Regent Street. An audio recording of Eddie’s set will be available to download from iTunes.
Eddie Izzard's renowned stand up shows including, 'Sexie', 'Circle', 'Dress to Kill', 'Glorious' and 'Definite Article' will be available on iTunes from 27 January.

Have the 50 pairs of tickets given in your online competition been allocated now? If so is there a list to check? And can we assume that if we haven't heard then we haven't won (said in very small voice with shoulders hunched as far as the sad eyes...).

Might be a good idea to publish the winners names and an idea of how many entries you received. In the interests of fair play we wouldn't want any/all of those fifty pairs of tickets being allocated to mates of mates of the web-site would we - rather than genuine entries from members ;-)

Please can we see the interview anyway.......please. I'm a regular visitor to apple so we know they can do it. So far I can't find a mention of it being available on anything other than British iTunes .... however, thanks to my English sister (and her techno-happy hubby!), I have access to the British iTunes!!!! Whoo hoo -- downloads, here I come (and I'm grabbing that complete Flanders & Swann while I'm in there!). I almost flew out last night to wait in line for one of those 20 tickets .... but am afraid Eddie might think I was stalking him at that point. Truly am not!!!!

Really good fun, tho' thought Simon Amstell seemed a bit uncomfortable with the "conversation" bit, having to use pre-prepared questions, and not really able to develop things if not on list. Think he's better on "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" But hey - Eddie was great. Hi to the guys from Nottingham, I met whilst waiting in the freezing cold outside! Have got a couple of piccies - not brill (think I was laughing too much when I took them!), but they give the idea of how small it was! Any idea how to post them on this thread?

Interestingly it's gone from the store again (though the link takes you to the right webpage, it fails to find it when iTunes opens). Looks like its been pulled - maybe they've realised it shouldn't be a full price release.

Someone mentioned that they downloaded it in the brief time it was up for £8. And iTunes has since contacted them to say it was meant to be free and refunded them. But that seems to have been the only way to get it so far as it's still not back up!!!

I think all this is ridiculous and I don't get it. WHY can't we get this interview on itune??!! WHAT IS THE PROBLEM??!! And another thing, STOP limiting it only to the UK! Eddie Izzard IS known in other countries outside UK!! YES there are other countries outside UK!! Just pay the rights and make it available for everybody
