Yup-- got an email blast this morning that the pre-sale began today (9/14/09) at 10 am, but Ticketmaster said the pre-sale for New York was back in JUNE! Available seats are in the rafters... Just bought two tickets for Oakland ("just a collection of houses"). No idea whether they're good ones as I couldn't find a seating chart that made it clear. No matter. This will be my first Eddie gig, and just two days before my birthday!

Sadly, I will NOT be seeing Mr. Izzard in Chicago, as the United Center is a horrid venue. I loved him at the Chicago Theater May '08, and would impoverish myself again to see him, but bloody hell. Not at the United Center. It's too big.
