Eddie, just saw your screening in San Francisco. Such a great heartfelt documentary! I didn't have tickets, waited in line for 2 hours and ended up with front row seats. Thanks for coming and sharing with all of us. <img src=""http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/3949/eddieo.jpg">

Hi Eddie, please can you come and show this (or do a show) back home in UK, just so we can all stand and applaud you for your amazing Sport Relief challenge. I have been running for a while (I am doing the Great North Run with a friend for Winston's Wish a charity for bereaved children) but having seen your Marathon Man over and over again, I now have new-found love and believe! Unbelievably, you also inspired my (rather over-weight) husband to take up running, and for this I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have finally donated to your Sport Relief fund, but feel no amount of money is enough to thank you for your incredible, hard work. Thank you so much for everything you have done and I am gutted I missed your run near St Albans - I would have been proud to 'support' (read: try to keep up with) your fabulous self. Keep on running. For me, you are King of the world! Kirsten x

Eddie, your Sport Relief marathons were a true inspiration and I have donated. You have made me realise that anything is possible and that I can beat my anxiety depression and I'm going to start running to help with this. Thankyou :)

Eddie, you have been an inspiration to me for many many years before you became this amazing Marathon Man. But now my admiration for you knows no bounds. I sponsored you for £5 and it was the best £5 I have ever spent. Seeing you fight your way through those marathons has made me see that you can do anything as long as you believe you can. Are you aware that there is a Facebook group dedicated to getting you a Knighthood for your fantastic achievment? I have of course joined *lol* I also want to echo sas99's comment and ask when the Believe DVD will be available in the UK? I know so many people who would love to buy it! Much love to you Eddie x

My young neighbor turned me on to you and I have been enjoying it all every since. I have seen you and watched certain things but never made the connection. I first saw the Death Star Canteena??! Laughed without knowing who the hell you are but my neighbor who is 19, (live on boat) brought your name up. I think you are fantastic. P.S. I use to catch my room mate, 6'4" in my dresses. Funny! I never got bad advice!

Hi Eddie!! what an amazing achievement in completing your marathons!! I'm gutted I missed you at the Angel of the North. I was completely in awe of your determination and overwhelming mental strength. The documentaries were so inspirational and I don't think any amount of sponsorship could truly reflect your true gutsy determination to complete all the marathons and not to let others down. You have certainly made me realise that the barriers in life are often put in our way by ourselves and that you can achieve anything if you want it bady enough. Your boxset 7 is just hilarious and keeps me laughing when life gets tough. I can't wait for Believe to be released in the UK. I hope your efforts will be rewarded in the Queen's honours list. xx

Previously I was only running 3 miles a sesion, now I'm up to 8 miles. When I feel knackered, I think of you and I carry on. I'm upping my miles to 10 this week. Hey Eddie, I am not going to do a 'fatwumanrun' but I am attempting to organise to break the world record for the most couples for a three legged race for a kid called Jordan who has inspired me, Jord had chemo for three and a half years and I watched your thing on the telly and so Jordan believes if some comedian who wears high heels can run all that way he can help break a World Record and get a Certificate (all he wants is the Certificate). We are going to also hopefully raise money for Dreamflight who sent Jordan off to the States for a holiday. Thank you Mr Izzz, you and your stiletto's inspire folk in the most unusual ways xxxxx

Hi Eddie, Heard you were in Brighton today, with Gordon Brown, so I rushed in on the train, with my bike, to get your name on our petition to save adult education evening & Saturday classes, at Brighton University, which are self-funding. Where were you? Any chance you could still lend your signature to our campaign please? Online petition at: ttp://www.savebrightonarthouse.org/ Many many thanks, Sally Jordan ps I'd love you to do some more documentaries!

I have watched Believe tonight. I have lost my dad 7 years ago. My mother called me on the phone, saying “your dad had come home and died 20 min ago”. So I have started my 40 hours journey home through half of the world, changing 3 planes, crossing Atlantic, going on the train, going on the bus. Sweet, scary, crazy Russia. All this time I thought I would come and they will say “he is alright, he is fine”. I was running the street where I’ve grown up to my house, and then upstairs. There was a coffin in the middle of the room. I miss my dad every second of my life. My heart is ripped apart. And it is not getting any better. I’m so sorry about your loss. I wish I could pray. But I am not a believer. There is no faith in me. Not anymore.

I finally made it to California last year and I stayed at the Embarcadero Center, so I finally feel like cool, I've actually been there and I know where you are talking about, it's on the top floor near a nice overpass where you can sit out at the tables and eat. Wish I could have gone!!!! ~Angela

My favorite quote of the whole film: "The point of life is to live it." Your life so far is certainly a testament to that. What an amazing documentary of an amazing guy.

Dear Mr. Izzard, I just finished watching 'Believe'. Hooray for Netflix. I think it's easy to forget that some of the best comedy comes from really painful stuff. I also think it's easy to forget that comics aren't funny all of the time. The biopic was very well done, and I was with you ever step of the way. I'm sorry that you've had so much sadness in your life. Please keep doing what you do. You give young artists like myself hope.
