we live in the country (central Calif). the cats chose us. i had NO intention on being 'the house with all the cats.' we've lost SO MANY this summer. i didn't realize the mortality rate for kittens is, like, 40%! we're lucky to still have this little guy. we lost his brother MONTHS ago!

sad you lost some, but have you heard eddit talking about the experiment where the guy rung the bell, then gave the dog food, and eventually the dog expected food at the bell tone, then talked about if he used cats intsead? its pretty good if you haven't
