2nd Place for January 2009
BEST VIEWED IN HIGH-QUALITY A dyslexic compilation of randomness - without words. I had no idea what I was going to come up with when I sat in front of the camera...all I knew was that it would involve face paint and a very crap animation! So, here's what I came up with...and added an Eddie-inspired thingy at the end! Enjoy :)

Personally, I like the newspaper and the skeletal hand best, but it's all very interesting. Leaves me with the question tho--how on earth do you keep your pores clean? :)
03 Feb 2009 - 08:22 GMT
Elf
The pores thing is an easy question - the face paint I use is called Snazaroo - and it's the best I've found. So as long as I get a proper wash afterwards - I'm good haha! Yeah, the skelital hand is one of my faves...have a look on my website for all of them - it's not something I do professionally, I just play - too many areas of creativity to play with in the world, but I'll do my best :D And hey - thank you all for the comments, I really do appreciate it - I'm really lucky to be on the homepage for a month - and so, thanks to Eddie too :D

Took a couple of hours - but I think I was in a bit of a rush...I get like that when i wanna get something finished! Otherwise I tend to take my time and make something more polished! We shall see what I come up with next :D

I see talent here, Makeup Artist? Artist? Comedy? Don't keep it to the small screen. Your young, have fun, take the adventure further. Who knows what's to be in your future! Rich or Poor it'll be a blast, don't let a "no" get you, just head for the yes. Such is the artist's drive! "Seems to be" as I quote Eddie who's changed a bit of the world for so many in his way. Great job.:)

Hey..thank you for your comments!! Funny you should mention 'not sticking to the small screen' ...I am actually a screenwriter - and will be seeing my first commission come to life on the big screen later this year :D I will, of course, keep you all up to date as to how it all plays out!! Elf x

I think it's fabulous that you've made your way through the madness of filmmaking--which genre, may I ask?
17 Feb 2009 - 18:07 GMT
Elf
The genre that my commission falls under is live action drama - it's a short without dialogue. In terms of what genre do I prefer to write in - usually coming of age stuff - but I'm building my protfolio! :) Other than that, I make a living writing in-house for a corporate / advertising video production company.
