Subject: Re:Eddie Re-opening the Bexhill Museum Posted: 26 Nov 2009 - 17:10 GMT Oh, what fun, Clay - to see Eddie just being a regular guy - albeit a celebrity - and seeing his dad. He must be SOOOO proud of Eddie. I know I am, and I am just his VIRTUAL Gran! I couldn't love him more if we were actually related - but he doesn't know that.

Subject: Re:Eddie Re-opening the Bexhill Museum Posted: 26 Nov 2009 - 17:13 GMT Thanks, Clay! What a fun video and photos! Great finds, as per usual.
And, my goodness, did he run there? I think he might have ... can't stop the man these days, it seems. And on that note, I'm off ... for a run. Oh, and weren't a couple of our own supposed to be there? Valkyrie_NYC and Jgod? Ladies? Any reports? And no sign of Alfie, though surely he was there, too ... Please support my journey to the L.A. Subject: Re:Eddie Re-opening the Bexhill Museum Posted: 26 Nov 2009 - 17:48 GMT Yes, he did indeed run there - drove past him just out of Eastbourne on my way to pick up Valkyrie and then saw him run down the street to the museum.
I'll leave Valkyrie to tell her story....some nice pics though will ensue. |

Subject: Eddie opening Bexhill Museum Posted: 28 Nov 2009 - 22:24 GMT Huge Eddie fan here! Saw him at Radio City in New York for my 40th, had to come to UK from Canada for father in laws funeral which was 1 hour from Cardiff same time as Eddie was in town! couldnt get tickets (at a reasonable price) HUGELY UPSET!! Also not appropriate just after a funeral??? Then popped in to see my parents who happen to live in Cooden (Bexhill!!) on the thursday that Eddie was playing the Devonshire in Eastbourne! also of course could not get tickets! (tiny venue) Anyway husband went to fill car up with petrol and came back to tell me he had just seen Eddie running! VERY UPSET !! Then we decided to go for a walk along the Bexhill sea front at about 3ish while we were walking we spotted some meridian tv cameras all of us commented wow wouldnt it be funny if they were here for Eddie?? and walked on into the pavillion for coffee and completely missed Eddie who ran passed not 10 minutes after we were there and into the museum!!! GUTTED BIG TIME is my new name
