And I had to quit drinking! How cruel is that? My doctor and my sis-in-law tried to congratulate me, but all I wanted was a perfect strawberry and a shot of bourbon.

I can't have caffeine anymore either. What are the four major food groups? Caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, amphetamine. Sugar, fat, salt, can't remember the fourth.

James Mason, you are back in a BIG way, HM!

Those chocolate-y delights look fantab-u-lous!

I made a completely experimental chocolate cake this year for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
I put together a brownie mix with an extra egg and a little bit more water
Divided the batter into two 13X9 pans - both sprayed with butter spray and well lined with parchment paper
Added a few semi-sweet chips for good measure and baked them for about 20 minutes each
After cooling completely, I cut the thin layer into 3 even sections
I put a thin layer of vanilla buttercream icing in between each layer and on the top
:D
Extremely successful - but incredibly rich :P
:D
I'm glad to hear that you are getting so healthy! But it can be a hard thing to keep up
I was in the hospital recently with double pneumonia so I decided I should give up smoking or else that oxygen that they had me on for 3 weeks will become a permanent thing

So glad to see you on here - I hope that your holidays went well
