Eddie tweeted this from California today:

"If you want advance tix for my new 2013 show - Force Majeure, go http://www.eddieizzard.com & get on my mailing list by 4pm UK Time 1st May"

Now that's different - a name before there was a hint of a new show ... I wonder where the tour will begin?

I had a hunch he'd put a tour together in 2013.... he seems to tour every 5 years... 2003, 2008 and hoping for 2013! Plus he's been doing shows in LA with new material from what I've heard and read here... fingers crossed!

Ciao for now my bellas & remember to embrace the present, & enjoy life while you've got the chance.... ciaoooooooo! Srvsbabe ;)x

That is quite interesting... he must have run across the phrase in one of his many contract signings.

Literally it translates "superior force" but it could be he liked it as a replacement for the phrase "an act of God".

Let's hope his tour plans are not disrupted by a force majeure :-)

Ah, the goodies I've missed. Thanks to meeting jgod at What About Dick tonight, I know I've been missing shows at Largo at the Coronet. Must stay more current.

And by the way - hi everyone! Long time no blather. Work's been keeping me busy. How's everyone doing?

X!

hello all! believe it or not i just discovered eddie about a week ago. since then i have watched, re-watched and read everything i could find online... and today i joined you here. i am fascinated by this man,and knocked out by his brilliance and wit both as a comedian and in general. just thought i'd ask if there are any books out about him? or any personal suggestions you might have about what to watch, where to search for more of his work, etc... i'd love to dig deeper and know more. looking forward to the new tour, and hoping that Canada might be on the list for a couple of shows. long shot, i suppose, but i can dream, right?
