Subject: What Is Your Comfort?

Saw this on a sign as I was walking home from the tennis courts today. Got me thinking about things that comfort me.

Really good food especially really great pizza, pastas, soup, chili, chicken pot pie, a really great breakfast

Really good friends which I am SO lucky to have many of

Music

George Michael's voice
Bono's voice
Tom Jones' voice
Pointy's voice except when he's yelling

My favorite T.V. shows which at the moment are Downton Abbey, Glee, and X Factor U.S., U.K. and Australia

Hearing my son whistle. It means he's in a good mood so I love hearing that. It's comforting.

My bed

Cool weather. I hate being too hot.

The sun.

Trees...I don't know why but they fascinate me and I find them comforting.

Hitting tennis balls

Going for long walks

Water

Clouds

This bracelet brings me comfort. I bought it years ago. It is a tribal surfer bracelet. Surfers wear bracelets as a good luck charm. It always makes me feel better wearing it. Not sure why.

There is something so comforting to me about watching Eddie. Not sure if it's his voice or what. But he relaxes me.

Without a doubt the biggest source of comfort for me is when one of my cats is curled up on my lap/or next to me in bed and P-U-R-R-I-N-G!
