I couldn't get it to dry in the dryer.

Quois the heck? Dryer just not drying (as well it should).

Sent El Guapo down to investigate.

He fiddled and and faddled with the dryer, finally detatched the hose connecting to outside and found...

some kinda critter had made a nest in it. A comfy cosy place to while away the winter out of dryer lint and twigs, even had some sunflower seeds in there from the birdfeeder for snacks.

Chipmunk? Squirrel? "I'm a f-in squirrel." Hmm. One would think that a squirrel would bee a little big for that, but then they were regular visitors to (as well as tenants in) our attic despite all attempts to negate their access and vacate them for many years so,

yeah.

I hear that dryer vents are a perfect hideaway spot for lippy and other makeup in winter . . . especially when jealous bully squirrels knock it out of the tree.

Too much work and no play makes Pandora a dull gal. I think of you often -- esp. the story about how your hubby flooded the groundhog tunnels and the ground caved in! All is well here on the farm. Despite routine vet trips for snipping, stray cat population grows. As I open the back door and see new ones, I say "WHO are you? Where'd you come from?" The rule is: If you belly up to the feeding trough for two weeks straight, you get a free ride to the vet after a meal of sardines in the have-a-heart trap. I swear, there's an underground cat railroad here! Still repairing Hurricane Sandy damage inside my house, but I was no where near as bad off as some folks. Numerous computer issues in recent months (but rebuilt now) so I was suffering from no techno joy. How about you, vesp?

Oh how I have missed you!

Well let's see. I retired (early), working on the novels which is a challenge.

Had a whole lotsa medical testing done lately - good news is I am okay and happy about that.

Working on my family (given our son, it's truly a work in progress).

So sorry about the Hurricane Sandy damage for you, and your computer issues.

But selfishly, i must tell you I am glad to see you back and hope to share much more together.

Back "when" this was more than a website about Eddie Izzard - this was a sharing and supportive place for blatheren to connect and reach out to one another.

I hope we can re -establish that together.
