Hamlet - Sun 27th December

The Tradgedy of Hamlet

Venue:

De La Warr Pavilion

Location:

Bexhill-on-Sea, UK

Direct from sold out performances in NORTH AMERICA, UK, Australia and New Zealand, Emmy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated performer SUZY EDDIE IZZARD brings her acclaimed dramatic solo performance to BOAT.

The King of Denmark is dead and Prince Hamlet is determined to take revenge, initiating a cascade of events that will destroy both family and state.

“When it gets to the famous soliloquies, Izzard… smashes all three of the great ones.”

CHICAGO TRIBUNE

Akin to the original performances of HAMLET, this production is performed on the blank canvas of a bare stage, letting Shakespeare’s words and pure storytelling take the spotlight.

“In the decades to come, you’ll want to be one of those fortunate enough to say, ‘Oh yes, I saw Izzard’s solo version of Hamlet.  I was there.’ You know, like Woodstock or the Beatles on the roof of the Apple building.” ARTS HUB AUSTRALIA
